The A-1 Pool Service Team has won multiple customer service awards, most recently winning the Superior Service Award from the APSP Midwest Chapter. We are very proud of this award since after meeting certain minimum requirements, the deciding factor in winning this award was our customers.
Service companies entered were required to submit 100 service customers which were sent surveys until at least 50 responses were collected. Award winning companies needed to receive nearly perfect responses from surveyed customers.

Our staff regularly attends manufacturer training and are highly competent with all leading brands and most others. It is important to understand the specifics of each brand for accurate and efficient service.
Training and certifications are gained through APSP (Association of Pool and Spa Professionals) and NSPF (National Swimming Pool Foundation.) A-1 Pools invests in training, employee raises are based upon it, and ongoing training is deeply woven into our company culture. The more we know, the better we serve you!
The APSP (Association of Pool & Spa Professionals) offer multiple levels of training and certification for retail, service and installation staff. All of our staff participates in APSP training and we are among just a handful of Wisconsin service companies to have a CSP (Certified Service Professional) on our service staff; this is the highest level of certification available for the pool & spa service industry.
A-1 Pools has at least one CPO on staff at all times every day of the week. The CPO certification course from the National Swimming Pool Foundation is commonly accepted by most state and local health departments as the training needed to operate a commercial pool. Our customers can draw upon this knowledge to solve even the most difficult water chemistry problem.
Our GPS-tracked service vans allow for efficient scheduling, recorded arrival and departure times, and safe driving.
Every service van is equipped with an iPad, which allows our service techs ready access to necessary job, customer, and parts info, as well as equipment manuals. Each van also carries $15,000-$25,000 worth of inventory. With the information and inventory we need close-at-hand, we strive to get the job done, and done right, the first time.
The inventory at our stores and in our service vans is computer controlled so inventory is most commonly ordered before we run out for maximum efficiency. Our techs are able to check inventory at all locations and all service vans and can see inventory on order as well as average lead times.
A digital profile is created for each customer which allows our staff to have efficient access to past purchase history, equipment serial numbers and warranty information, pending order and service orders and special notes and associated equipment photos. This enables our entire staff to be able to efficiently answer customer questions.
For your convenience, upon completion of the work and review of the service order, we charge your credit card on file and email you a copy of the paid invoice for your records. Your invoice includes a detail of the work completed as well as our service technician notes.
We offer flat-rate pricing for diagnosis, and offer an up front, guaranteed prices for most repairs. No extra trip charges for out of stock parts.

We work can service almost any make and model with our years or experience and extensive training.
We also offer full leak detection and repair, including electronic measurement of water loss, electronic leak detection in vinyl liner pools, listening for leaks in underground plumbing and underwater repair. So, unlike many competitors, we can locate leaks and complete the repair, often in one trip, saving you time and money.
