Directions: Test pool water and apply ProTeam pH Down when pH is above 7.6. Proper pH should range between 7.4 - 7.6. Determine the appropriate amount of pH Down needed to treat you pool water. Dilute 1 lb of pH Down into a 5 gallon pail of water (never add water to acid – always add acid to water) Pour entire contents of pail into pool water evenly around the pool; except do not pour near metal components, such as your pool light or ladder and keep away from outlets, such as your pool skimmer. Circulate water for 3-4 hours and test pH again. Repeat as necessary until pH is in ideal range. If you have very high Total Alkalinity, you should consult your pool professional for advice.
